New Outlook Email
How to access myBHC and new Outlook email
Students: Part of the new portal is your new Outlook email. You will need it to login to myBHC.
- Duo security is required. If you don’t already have Duo, you'll need to set it up.
- Access myBHC web portal.
- Choose Student & Employee Login.
- If this is your first time logging into myBHC:
- Click on “First-time Students click here for Login” and follow the instructions.
- Username is your current myBlackHawk username plus “@student.westerlyspine.com” (Example: jdoe2 is now jdoe2@student.westerlyspine.com)
- Click on Return to myBHC.
- If you are returning after first time use:
- Enter your username and password.
- To access email, click on the myBHC Email icon.
Email transition timeline
Official college email has switched from myBlackHawk to myBHC.
Although we have moved away from myBlackHawk, it is still available for you to access your mymail account and other Google data until June 28.
*IMPORTANT* Your College @mymail.westerlyspine.com Gmail, Google Drive document storage, Calendar, and Contacts will not be available after June 28, 2024.
- If you would like to save any of these data, please follow the instruction links below to extract your data and import into your College Outlook account prior to June 28, 2024.
- If your username for non-College systems is currently your @mymail.westerlyspine.com, you are highly encouraged to change it to your personal email account.
How to access Canvas
- Canvas is accessible from both myBHC and myBlackHawk as well as the Canvas app.
- Either myBHC or myBlackHawk usernames/passwords can be used. The default email in Canvas will remain Gmail/mymail for a few days.
- Canvas email (inbox) is still available within Canvas.
